More of the Corrie Family found in Falcons....

After the revelations previously that Blanche from Corrie was the new manager of Falcons, an even more shocking fact came to light, that Blanches daughter has recently become Falcons first choice goalkeeper!!

The future's bright, the future's maroon

So, it's been a while since anyone posted, so I thought I would post a look forward to what is coming up...

Feeling fully refreshed from my mid-season "training" break in Gran Canaria, I have now returned to life as Falcons Chairman, and was greeted on my return to a fair few texts and e-mails with regards to the annual debauchery/orgy with a bit of 5-a-side weekend that is the Yorkshire Tournament. For those of you not aware, this is the same weekend as the Leeds Tournament, but we should be able to manage both....

I was rather disappointed, nah upset to be told that my main partner in crime from last year, Blanche, won't be joining us! So, that job is open for applications now! I consoled myself with memories of vodka, Big Ben being thrown down the stairs, "BNP", shit, lube, phone calls, stolen pants and squeaky voices! If you haven't been yet, it HAS to be done! Probably the highlight of the gay calender for me! Though quite how it will live up to last year god only knows! The veritable haven that is the Leeds Etap is booked already, so get your place confirmed with the Doctor now!

Following on from that we have trips to Bournemouth, as well as the visit of them Scots. It's looking like the league and cup double header is to take place on 18th/19th April, so we'll look forward to getting them absolutely wasted and ending their cup hopes as well as securing 3 points in our battle for mid-table obscurity!

Bournemouth should be an interesting game. I would compare records, but seeing how we are the only team to have actually completed all our games so far it's not so easy! I don't know whether anyone will be travelling down the night before, having been out on the Bournemouth "triangle" a few times before I can't really recommend it! So, we'll just have to see.

Apart from that I can't really get past anything other than Yorks Tournie!! So I'll leave it there, and look forward to seeing you all Sunday for the friendly versus that other occasional outfit that turn up at ODP......oh and the quiz in the RA!

Blanche..

In the RA on Sunday I was hit by a sudden realisation which answered a niggling question that I had been asking myself for a while: who does Blanche from Coronation St remind me of? Every time I see her on the screen spreading misery and generally being old and bitter about life I ask myself the same question. Well, it suddenly dawned on me on Sunday. Can anyone guess? He may be male and about ten years younger than Blanche but the similarities are uncanny..

Harry Potter in fancy dress

What the fuck are you wearing Thomas?

The ice queen strikes back

Hmm.. thanks for that, Kev.

I should point out that our ever graceful and dignified manager spent the whole of last night stumbling around, falling down, bumping into people and desperately clinging on to the bar.. typical night out for him then.

This time it was poor Haydn who was carrying him rather than the Doc or Luka or whoever is unfortunate enough to be playing beside him..

He even had to spend some time in the kids play area.. (below left)

Falcons Wars: A New Hope

Well done Pricey, a splendid idea and happy that you will finally have something to do at work. I trust the aim of the blog is to discuss tactics, training, fitness, forthcoming opponents and so forth? If so, be careful who you invite, else it will no doubt become a forum for cheap cock gags, endless innuendos, afternoon meeting places near school gates, and saunas that discriminate against females.

I await a first post from our (my) erstwhile assistant manager, pictured below about to career into the ground last night. Maybe if we gave him ice skates he would actually move a bit quicker around a football pitch?

THE ICE QUEEN

In the beginning....

Welcome to the new London Falcons GFC blog! Over the next few months we will attempt to post commentary on all thing LFGFC both on and mainly off the pitch!! I am hoping that this will also aid in the writing of my long awaited book!! LOL.

If you want to contribute to this contact Tom Price, sure you know where to find me...
